SpectraSentry / Frequency Generator

Frequency Generator

A tone and waveform generator for field work — Solfeggio, Schumann, brainwave entrainment, binaural beats, noise and sweeps.

What it is

The Frequency Generator synthesizes audio output through CoreAudio: pure tones and waveforms (sine, square, triangle, sawtooth), white and pink noise, and binaural beats. Presets cover the nine Solfeggio frequencies (174–963 Hz), Schumann resonance (7.83 Hz), and brainwave entrainment bands (theta, alpha, beta). It also does linear and logarithmic frequency sweeps. This is intentional output you choose to play — it is a signal source, not fabricated measurement data, and it does not affect any analysis display.

What it's for

Environmental stimulation during an investigation (Solfeggio / Schumann).

Brainwave-entrainment and binaural-beat sessions.

Generating test tones and sweeps to check an audio chain.

How to use it
  1. Pick a source. Choose a waveform, a preset (Solfeggio / Schumann / brainwave), noise, or a sweep.
  2. Set frequency & level. Dial in the frequency (or sweep range) and output level.
  3. Play. Output goes to the selected CoreAudio device; binaural mode sends a slight offset per ear.
